BK Wines Yandra Chardonnay 2022
It is a youthful sensation, bursting with a delightful honeycomb and hard candy profile that leaps out of the glass. Harvested during the extended, cool 2022 vintage, this 100% Lenswood Chardonnay offers layers of aromas and flavors including apple tart, lemon, and subtle hints of liquorice-bark oak. With wild-yeast fermentation, bâttonage, and 10 months in 25% new French oak, the wine is lively now but promises excellent long-term cellaring potential. Unfiltered and unfined, only 100 dozen were made, making it a rare and cherished choice. Enjoy its vibrancy within the next 10 minutes or lay it down for extended aging.
