The 2023 BK Wines Gower Pinot Noir bursts with youthful energy and layered flavors, staying true to its Pinot Noir roots. Expect Burgundian notes of rose petals, raspberries, and spice on the nose. It offers plump fruit, firmer structure from stone fruit pips, and a palate of sweet black mulberry with a subtle Campari tang. Cooler conditions in recent vintages bring extra freshness and reveal the grape's nuances, unlike the more mature leather character of earlier years. Pure Lenswood fruit, hand harvested, whole bunch fermented with native yeast, one month on skins, aged 10 months in one quarter new French oak, unfiltered and unfined. Just 200 dozen produced.
